Hi all, long time no post! ^^

Anyway, I had an idea for drawing a short manga based on a song, Rufus Wainwright's "Vibrate". It's a lovely song that's sweetly sad, perfect for some good 1x2 mush. ^^; I wanted to do it all digital and in color, but after beginning it was clear that it was a little too ambitious for a noob like me. >_>

I'm thinking of maybe steering this more towards an art journal (phbbt). Something to enourage me to practice more. There are some incredible talented artists who do the same out here (namely mbp12 and asia_2), so I'd really like to try something like that.

It's been over a full, bleedin' year since I've posted in livejournal! Crazy, no?

Well, I just honestly haven't felt inundated with anything to really say and I've been super busy with work and school to do anything creative, so I just sort of drifted away from it. Lately, however, I've been feeling a little more up to posting, so I'm ready to return to it!

*pokes livejournal* I have no idea why I had such a large sense of foreboding logging in, though it explains why I haven't in three weeks.

Haha, I got the job at Elephant Bar, and thank heavens, because another week of unemployment and I might have offed myself. And yesh, Jen-Jen, it's the one by the mall!! Eee! I'm so going to have to drop by your work v. soon! *lurve* I went in tuesday and filled out a bunch of tax forms, got my uniform, and so I officially start Saturday. *excited* Of course, the money I make for the first month will be funnelled into my "get off my lazy arse and transfer already" fund which will pay for the application fees I will undoubtedly be facing this month. Yesh. I am sooo terrified at leaving home but seeing as I will be bloody TWENTY in two months, I can't very well stay forever, can I?

HOCKEY IS BACK!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? I'm going to a game (Ducks vs Blue Jackets on Fri) and you can believe that my vocal cords are quite restless after a yearlong reprieve. I kept freaking people out at Adam's little brother's hockey games (no joke). O_o
